Focus on your strengths

Once a handicapped boy went to learn judo. He introduced himself to the master and expressed his desire.

The master carefully examined the boy and found that the boy didn't have the left arm. He thought for some time and then sent the boy to the corner of the hall with one trick to learn. The boy felt happy. He started practicing the trick full heartily.

Three months passed away and the boy was just practicing the same trick. The master came sometimes to examine how the boy was doing, corrected him sometimes and went away. The boy started feeling that the master has no interest teaching him.

One day, the master enrolled the boy to one of the biggest tournaments in their city. The boy thought that the master is not interested in him anymore. So the boy thought to leave the master after the tournament.

The tournament started. To the boy's surprise, he kept winning all rounds one after another without any hassle. And in the blink of an eye, he was into the finals with one trick in his archery. And then, he won the tournament.

The boy went straight to the master and asked for the secret behind his win. The master told - "Dear student, you won for two reasons. First, you have mastered the most difficult move of judo. And second, the counter move or defense to it is holding the left arm."

The boy was standing there stunned with his missing left arm.

You are a handicap to learn only if you think so. If you focus on the win, you can use your disabilities against your opponents. Focus on the strength to win and not on the weakness to lose.
