What Makes Us Rich

Once a rich man wanted to teach his only son about the value of money. So he planned a day trip to a poor family in a village. The boy spent and observed everything day and night.

On their way back, the father asked politely, "My child, did you check and learn what poverty means?"

"Yes father, today I found out how much poor we are.

We have a huge mansion, but they had open fields.

We have one dog, they have many.

We have one swimming pool, they have a big river.

We purchase food, they grow it.

We are lights, they have a sheet of stars.

We are protected by walls, they are protected by friends.

We have money, they have love...they have time." 

The father was stunned with the understanding of his child. He learnt that day that money doesn't make us rich.

So friends, be rich with the abundance of love, time and life. Money may be a medium to achieve your dreams, but to reach and enjoy your dreams you need many more things too. Stay blessed, enjoy more.
